  1. Kia ora Madds,

Great work on your first Summer Learning Journey post. I really look forward to reading and commenting on more of your posts throughout the summer.

3 weeks on a boat seems like a really long time, have you been on a boat before?
You have picked some great items to take on your trip with you and it looks like you've tried to include things that don't need to be stored in a fridge so well done.
You have picked some great healthy foods too. What type of fruit is your favourite?
I like that you've put chocolate on the list, I would probably take some of that too.

Until next time, happy blogging :)

  3. Hi Madds,

Congratulations on completing another activity! You've included some great items on your list. I'm glad you remembered to put water down - it's so important to keep yourself hydrated, especially when you're out in the Sun which you definitely would be on a boat trip.

I just wanted to let you know that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (January 24th). You shared a few really great posts earlier in the programme but I've noticed that you haven't been as active this month. Emma and I would love for you to jump back online and complete a few more activities before the end of next week. Remember, the more activities you do, the more points you could earn! :)

Have a wonderful day, Madds. I hope to see more SLJ posts from you soon. :)

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey
